Frequently Asked · Preguntas Frecuentes

Questions, Answered.

What ID do I need to have a document notarized? +
A current government-issued photo ID is required — Texas Driver License, US Passport, State ID, Military ID, or Permanent Resident Card. The name on your ID must match the name on the document. Expired IDs cannot be accepted under Texas law.
Can you come to a hospital or nursing home? +
Yes — hospital, hospice, and nursing home visits are a regular part of my practice. The signer must be alert, able to communicate, and capable of understanding what they are signing. Same-day and after-hours availability.
Do you speak Spanish? +
Yes — I am fully bilingual. I can review documents, explain terms, and guide signings entirely in Spanish or English at no extra charge.
How fast can you get to me? +
Same-day appointments are almost always available. Inside the Loop, typical arrival is within 60–90 minutes of booking. Beyond Beltway 8, allow 2 hours. For genuine emergencies (hospital, urgent closing) call directly at (346) 278-8773.
What does Remote Online Notarization (RON) cost and how does it work? +
RON is conducted via secure video on the BlueNotary platform. You verify your ID, I verify the document, we sign with electronic signatures, and you receive a fully notarized PDF — all without leaving home. $25 per signature. Legally valid in all 50 states.
Do you handle real estate loan signings? +
Yes — I'm a Certified Loan Signing Agent (LSA) experienced with refinances, purchases, HELOCs, and reverse mortgages. Flat-rate pricing of $150–$200 typically covers travel, signing, scan-back, and FedEx return.
Do I need to provide my own witnesses? +
In most cases, yes. Texas notaries cannot serve as witnesses for the documents they notarize. Your witnesses must be neutral adults who are not parties to the document. If you need help arranging witnesses, ask when booking — I can sometimes coordinate.
What payment methods do you accept? +
Square (credit/debit), Zelle, Cash, and personal check. Payment is collected at the appointment. For loan signings billed to title companies, invoicing is available.
